BHF 100K

During January, five members of the Barbers team took part in the #BHF100K challenge. Mike, Matthew, Sean, Carol & Richard joined 250 other agents from all over the country in a bid to run, cycle or walk over 100km during the month. Over 2,400 sponsors donated and an incredible £65,000 (including gift aid) has been raised so far through JustGiving.

Relocation Agent Network (of which Barbers are a member) and Agents Giving, spearheaded the campaign which was started by Kevin Scrupps, from Pygott & Crone in Lincolnshire. Kevin said;

'We saw a fantastic response from the estate agency world, our friends, families, and from different organisations across the country. People of all ages and abilities have taken part, and the amount we have raised is amazing and way beyond the fundraising target that I originally had in mind."

Barbers Managing Director, Mike Arthan, completed the challenge and commented:

"Some of us are now feeling the effects of a month’s worth of hard exercise but I am sure you will agree it has been more than worth it. It has been fantastic to see so many people getting out and about in the fresh air – despite the cold wind, rain, sleet, and snow! Well done to all participants on raising money for such a wonderful cause"

This figure raised is absolutely amazing and will help support the excellent work that The British Heart Foundation does on a daily basis. Thank you to all who took part and donated.
