Managing a property is something that you cannot afford to get wrong and there is more more involved than you may realise. At Barbers we have a team of full time Property Managers who each manage a selection of properties, giving you a personal one-to-one service. Taking care of all maintenance and repair requirements; we have a list of approved contractors available if you do not have a preferred contact. We also have an emergency contact number for those out of hours problems that sometimes occur
Property Management Visits - We carry out regular visits to ensure that the property is being well kept and there are no underlying problems and report back to you with a full written report with colour photographs.
Rent Collection - We operate a credit control procedure to manage late payment situations
Tenant Handbook - We have developed our own 'Handbook' that is given to all tenants in our managed properties; this is a comprehensive manual for tenants to refer to regarding most aspects of renting a property, ensuring that theyunderstand their obligations, responsibilities and how to manage different situations.
Outgoing inspections - This will normally be carried out by the same person that did the ingoing schedule of condition. A report will be produced and we will negotiate with the tenant and organise release of the deposit as required.
