Elizabeth Fundell MNAEA
Branch Sales Co-ordinator
What is your role at Barbers?I work as Branch Sales Co-ordinator at our Wellington/Telford branch. I have worked in the industry for over ten years and love being part of a tight-knit and dedicated team that is focussed on providing the highest possible levels of customer service to our clients. I am proud that, as an independent company, we can really spend time getting to know our sellers and purchasers, gently guiding them through the property process.
What is your favourite food & drink?
Being a Taurean, I absolutely adore my food and drink, particularly anything which involves seafood! A cosy night on the sofa with a bowl of comforting paella and glass of Malbec, watching a good rom-com, is my idea of heaven!
Do you have any pets?
We have a beautiful eleven year old dog called Bella. Being half Chihuahua and half Yorkshire Terrier, she is a feisty little thing – barking at everyone and everything she meets - the definition of a tiny dog with a brave heart! We love taking her to Attingham Park, where we all enjoy the rambling walks through the deer park, plenty of sniffs for Bella and a warming hot chocolate at the end of the day for us adults!
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
I do love a holiday in the sunshine, to relax and recuperate from our busy daily lives, in fact, I think I should have been born and raised in the Mediterranean! Anywhere warm, with sea close by and a swimming pool is my favourite go-to destination. I love to try local foods and to explore the local areas too, and I particularly love the Spanish islands. Having lived in the USA previously, I would like to return at some point, but also would like to explore some of the South American countries.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I so love getting out for a good walk, whether it be locally with my partner and our dog, or slightly further afield in Carding Mill Valley. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful county, with some stunning countryside. We are also members of the National Trust and enjoy visiting their different properties. There is such a wealth of history on our doorstep, and so much to see and do. I also love cooking and find it quite relaxing to create a meal at the end of the day. Other than that, I am learning machine patchwork quilting at the moment, and really enjoy attending a monthly class with my Mum – we spend more time giggling and chatting than actually producing anything, it is a fun session and lovely to spend time with my parent.
