Jacqui Guy
Sales Negotiator/Valuer
What is your role at Barbers?
I first joined Barbers in 2004 working in the Newport Branch, valuing, listing, negotiating, and sales progressing. I left in 2009 to start a family and returned in 2020 part time. Currently I work in the Wellington Branch valuing and negotiating. It’s an absolute pleasure to be back in the bosom of Barbers.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I did a sky dive in Las Vegas from 15 thousand feet, I loved every second and will definitely do one again.
Do you have any pets?
I have a fabulous, very well behaved (which is unusual) 8 year old black cockapoo called Lenny. He has a black birthmark on his tongue and sulks when he isn’t walked.
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
As a child I spent a lot of time in Cornwall, it will always hold a special place in my heart, especially Fistral Beach and St Michaels Mount. Having travelled further afield as an adult, New York is now a close second.
What is your favourite quote?
Carpe Diem – Seize the day, is a very apt quote for me and how I try and live every day.
What makes Barbers different?
The people. That’s what makes us different, our attitudes, our work ethic, both too our colleagues and customers. It's a company I have always’ relished working for.
