Mitch joined Barbers in 2018 having had experience as a finance apprentice at BAE systems Telford. As an Accounts Assistant, he processes invoices and takes care of general day-to-day reconciliation with income/expenditure to the business as well as supporting the rest of the finance team in daily operations. Mitch is CIMA part-qualified and also liaises with our suppliers whilst dealing with accounts payable aspect of finance for Barbers.

What do you like most about your job/working at Barbers? – I enjoy the variety of work and friendly atmosphere of the various branches of Barbers.

Where is your favourite place locally/In Shropshire/Cheshire/Your Local Town or Village? – Going to the variety of shops that are across Shrewsbury town centre.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? – A Farmer

What is your role at Barbers? – My role includes the purchase and sales ledger along with assisting the accounts department with rent postings.
